Thursday, June 30, 2011 day trip to Heidelberg Germany

Today we drove to Heidelberg.  We had always heard about it from people we new in the Army but had never visited.

Largest Wine Barrel holds over 58,000 gallons of wine – the Heidelberg Tun or Grasses fass is 6 meters high (20 ft)

I have a thing for the signs in Europe.  I have no idea what kind of shop this would be.

We saw so many beautiful flowers and great scenery and castles on the way back to Rosshof.
