With recent travel and the incident yesterday we are staying in the apartment today. It is raining and in the 60’s and the wind is 15-25 mph. We did some apartment cleaning and more laundry to get ready for the arrival of Reba and Bridget Strickland from The Woodlands, Texas to visit with us a few days. It is Sunday and almost all the restaurants and shops are closed It is a good day to work on the blog. I am so far behind. Sorry. It is hard to keep it up when we are doing and seeing so much.
Again, the TV does not have what I want to see. I missed Wimbledon Tennis because we didn’t have a station on our TV and then again in Germany it was not televised at all and they didn’t even get any updates on the scores for the finals. Now we are back in Paris and we do NOT have the station for the Women’s Soccer game on our TV. I finally watched a live blog of it to keep up with the scores. I am so disappointed the USA didn’t win but still happy they did make it to the finals. GO USA!
