It is sunny and warm in Verona about 80-85 degrees. Our hotel had a good air conditioner and in a quite area so we got to sleep late.
That afternoon we decided to rent bikes and tour the city on our own. Had a great ride very easy and mostly flat in the old city. rented bike and toured on our own around the old town.of Verona. Beautiful day. Saw Juliette's House and balcony!
We saw this restaurant menu and thought of "cross contamination". We didn't eat here but I am thinking about becoming a "vegan" in Italy.
Stopped by the Rental Car place and they had this cute Fiat 500.
Had lunch at an outdoor café and they brought us some Limoncello after lunch.
Fountain in Verona – it was hot and the water was cool!
Take a good look at the right side of the Menu in English.
I would not recommend this restaurant and we did not go but it did make me look more closely at all the restaurant menus.
Some of the items on the menu:
Horse and rabbit ragout, Donkey ragout, Sausage ragout (What could be in this!!!!!), Horse tartar, Horse dried meat.
This would certainly be a restaurant with CROSS-CONTAIMINATION!
This was a children’s bike race and street fair.
The walls of this building had some wonderful designs on it.
The plaza had some great architecture
