Monday, October 3, 2011 – Verona Italy – day trip to Bardolino on Lake Garda

The buses were not running near our hotel on the weekend so now it it Monday and the buses are running. We went to the train station to see about renting a car to travel the lakes area – Lake Garda and Lake Como. We got the Fiat 500 painted like the Italian Flag!!! I like it. We got the TomTom hooked up and headed for Bardolino, Italy on Lake Garda only about 45 minutes away. They were having a wine festival that was just finishing up today. We found a restaurant for lunch. There were still several of booths and activities on the last day of the festival. I wish we had noticed it was going on when we were in Verona over the weekend last 2 days. We walked around the village for a while then headed back to our hotel to load up and stay out in the lakes area for a few days. It is so beautiful.
