Friday, September 16, 2011–Vienna Austria–Opera House tour, and Jewish Memorial then a local train to Baden outside of Vienna

On the way to the Opera House we went through the gardens where they have a statue of Mozart.

The Vienna Opera has a different show every night so this backstage is very busy.  They just finished practice for a new show coming soon and now getting ready for tonights show.  They have a lot of equipment and levels to move around.

Next we found the Jewish Memorial. 

 

  Elaine found a window with grapevines and flowers at a restaurant in Vienna.

Next:

Baden, Austria – Took the local train to Baden about 1 hr away where they have “thermal baths”.  Looks nice but smells BAD!

   

Nice flowers in every town.
