Paris France June 9-11, 2011

We took the 6:30 a.m. Thalys High Speed Train from Brussels to Paris 1 1/2 hrs – about 200 miles, driving time would be 3 1/2 hrs.

Grabbed a taxi at the train station and got to the apartment and met with the owner, Philipe, to check out the details. 

The apartment is just as it appears online.  It is well furnished. We have internet, phone and  cable TV.

Saturday, June 11, 2011  - We are having difficulties with getting the English stations on the TV so Edward and Philipe have gone to exchange the box. 

Since we have arrived in Paris I have been sick with soar throat, fever, etc. and we were both tired from our trip already.  We have just been resting in the apartment a couple of days not getting right back out and doing the sights yet.  Since we have a few months were are not planning to go like we do for a day or so.  I am feeling much better now.
