Brest, France arrive 8:00 am, depart 5:00 pm
There is a French Holiday today so none of the shops are open and limited amount of restaurants. We did find La Fayette Café open and they let me log on to update our blog. We had some cappuccino and some wine so they were happy. After uploading the blog we walked around and saw the U.S. Monument for WWI. The town is in the middle of construction to update the trams and bridge for big tall ship celebration in 2012. We were disappointed the shops were closed as we saw a local beer BRITT that had a “Puffin” on the label and one of the shops had some glasses and we also saw a shop with some shirts that we liked.
