July 20, 2013 - Ferry from Liverpool to Belfast

Checked out of the hotel and got to the ferry dock for our 10:30 ferry departure to Belfast. The crossing was a total of 8 hours. It was smooth and easy. Sadly, we did not see any whales or dolphin that are often sighted on this crossing.

Stena Terminal in BelfastThe famous docks of Belfast where many ships, including the Titanic, were built. Sadly, all of this work has now gone to China also affecting the steel mills of Wales. As a result there are limited opportunities in Belfast, as with most of America’s industrial cities, for workers who do not want to go to college.
