About the only thing interesting to see in Harwich is an old Roman Fortress which was enhanced as a defensive fort when England was afraid that Napoleon would invade. It is a circular fortress overlooking the harbor. They day we visited, they were having a beer festival inside so, of course, we stayed for the afternoon and met some people who were going on the cruise with us the next day.
Tomorrow we board the Brilliance of the Seas to begin our Baltic Cruise.
