Saturday, September 3, 2001–Vienna–Naschmarkt the local flea market

NASCHMARKT – the local food, open air and flea market since the 16th century.  It is about a mile long over the Wien River in Vienna with 120+ stands. It is a colorful crowd of people buying fruits, vegetables and various delicacies from every country from dawn till dusk. Trendy restaurants are also finding a spot in the area. There is also entertainment on the weekends. It is a great place to just sit outdoors at the Naschmarkt eating, drinking and watching people go by.
