Departed Houston about 10:00 am head to Fort Lauderdale FL for our transatlantic cruise to England. We are taking a few days early to visit some friends in The Villages a huge 55+ neighborhood near Orlando. First night is Biloxi MS.   Drive Easter Sunday morning was nice on I-10 until we got to Baton Rouge, LA. Torrential down pour with 1/4 To 1/8 mile visibility most of the way to Biloxi. Speed of 40 mph with average of maybe 50 mph. Had a brief few minutes with small hail. Safely arrived and in our room now. Nice to be off the highway and out of the rain.
